good location just outside center with easy walking distance to fortress, shopping and tourist areas

Pros: We arrived after 11 pm and arranged a taxi to meet us with the host. Communication by whatsapp was good especially when the original taxi broke down and had to have a replacement arranged at very short notice. Host met us and showed everything on arrival. Apartment was great comfortably fitting 4 with good facilities and a decent coffee machine. Lots of small backeries in the area so easy to get breakfast after a morning run along the river (can go for 4 km downstream without any lights!).

Cons: well its on the 4th floor with no elevator so if you are not good with stairs then it might be a bit of a challenge. For us though it was fine (old stairs with a proper thread height) and anyway if you visit Belgrade you will be doing a lot of steps regardless. The apartment quality made up for it for sure.
