A Home Away from Home in the Heart of Belgrade

Pros: Smokvica is always my first choice when staying in Belgrade. Even though it is not a family-run hotel, it truly feels like home from the moment you arrive. A special mention goes to Darko at the reception, who always welcomes guests with a warm smile and is happy to help with even the smallest questions. The rooms are beautiful, very spacious, and have a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Comfortable stay, great breakfast

Pros: Superb breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, which was also great value for money. Rooms nice size and rustic decor, with comfortable beds, safe and even slippers provided! Lovely neighbourhood with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff overall were great and, when one of our suitcases broke, were able to find a local shop for us to have it repaired. We liked the welcome lemonade on arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. Easy walking distance to the tram stop, but far enough away from the main pedestrian streets to feel like you're in a more local area.

Cons: The air conditioning emitted smoky-smelling air sometimes so I turned it off. You could hear the noise from the restaurant during the evening, although it wasn't too loud for us. The bathroom floor was quite slippery when wet and there was no bath mat to make up for this. There weren't many sockets to charge your phone etc, you had to unplug some lamps instead.

Always pleasant to stay here

Pros: We stay here often. It's always pleasant. When booking, we indicated we wanted the room with the large table for work, and this was taken into account. Friendly manager.

Cons: The rooms could perhaps use a little renovation in the future.

Pros: Great location in the centre of Belgrade, every time my family travels there we stay at Smokvica The hotel has only a few room so it's quite intimate There is also a restaurant in the hotel with a very nice outdoor terrace

Pros: Staff were super lovely and professional, Darko the manager, the housekeeper and the staff in the restaurant. We felt very welcome. Fabulous food. Definitely recommend.

Perfect stay in the heart of Dorćol.

Pros: The hospitality we witnessed at Smokvica was second to none and so was its location. The hotel itself is charming and quaint, and only accommodates a hanful of rooms. The B&B’s proximity to a fantastic restaurant (located on the ground floor), was a big hit with our family with respect to both breakfast and dinner.

Pros: Smokvica Dorcol is in fantastic location, you can walk everywhere. It has a great courtyard bar/restaurant with very good food and delicious cocktails. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
