Queen's Astoria Design Hotel

Recommend!

Pros: It was a really perfect place to explore the city. Rooms are spacious and nice furniture.

Cons: Everything was perfect

Good hotel with friendly staff

Pros: Good location, very friendly and helpful management and reception, the breakfast is Ok. We are asked for check out later and we were allowed to stay in the room till 5 p.m. so it's very nice!

Cons: The hotel needs some renovation but it's not critical.

Pros: Excellent stuff so friendly and professional Clean rooms, good breakfast everything you need in the room like slippers,toothbrush,clean towels... definitely i will come again

Very good location, reasonable price, nice design

Pros: Excellent location, nice retro design with some nice touches of Art Nouveau in the lobby; room was nice, but not great (especially mattress and pillows which could have been more comfortable); breakfast was in line with the specific Balkans taste, but definitely ok.

Cons: (Our) room was not quiet, entrance door was not soundproof al all; mattress and pillows would also need an upgrade.

Pros: The room is great and spacious. It was very clean and the beds are comfortable. The girls working at the reception were very kind and helpful (they have rate 10 from me, and they deserve a raise). Location is also great since it was near all places we wanted to visit.

Cons: If possible, request a room away from the elevator, as it is noisy at night. The air conditioner did not work, so we couldn’t heat the room adequately. There was only one tiny blanket, which was not enough since it was -5°C outside, and I ended up sleeping in my jacket. The staff did their best: they gave us bathrobes to use on the bed and called someone to fix the air conditioner, but it was never repaired. For the price, I believe the hotel should provide extra blankets or alternative heaters to be prepared for situations like this.

Pros: The location was great very central and you can go around Belgrade easily busses and tram stops are only a block away

Cons: The hotel decor is a bit on the oldish side. For the last three days of the holiday there was no hot water in the bathroom, The water of the shower was freezing. Even though I complained several times at the recepltion about this, I was informed that they were aware about this issue but nothing was yet done during my stay.

Great vintage place - very charming and well located!

Pros: The hotel is so charming and with vintage vibes, we felt that we travel in the history and centuries :) The room was kinda old but cozy and lovely, the stuff is so welcoming and high class, especially tall blonde lady and the other brunette lady - the most beautiful:)) Breakfast was tasty and the lobby - amazing! Location just 10-12 minutes walk to the Knyaz Mihailo area. Overall was great experience, we are happy that we chose this hotel!

Cons: Change air conditioning, too old and not working best :)

Amazing atmosphere for a one night lay over.

Pros: I was taken back to the days with Basil from Faulty Towers trying to comfort each and everyone of the guest at the same time. The young man in the receptionist answered the phone, ordered taxis, apologising for not clean rooms and during it all he helped me getting a sim card to work with my phone. Meanwhile all his colleagues were falling apart around him, forgetting basic things in the rooms, not knowing what to do and doing nothing. It was absolutely the perfect atmosphere for a backpacker travelling though Sofia for a one nighter. And since I had to depart really early I did not get the breakfast I paid for, so they packed a brunch bag for me handed over at checkout - amazing service by the young man! Btw - the rooms are really nice!

Pros: The hotel has its own style. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is good and the service is very friendly. The hotel is also in a good location.
